I had a lovely stay at Hotel Liassidi Palace, where the beautiful charm of the hotel was undeniable. although I did encounter some issues with noise and odor in my apartment. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, especially one nice bartender named Gonzalo, whose hospitality truly enhanced my experience. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a mix of pros and cons.

Rooms

I found the interconnecting room spacious and clean, with an amazing canal view. however, I faced issues with noise from the nearby apartment and a persistent unpleasant odor in the second bathroom.
Service
8.0
The staff were attentive and lovely, particularly the breakfast team who were superb. though I did feel a lack of interaction when checking out, which was a bit disappointing.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was excellent, just moments away from St. Mark's Square, providing easy access to major attractions. yet it maintained a quieter atmosphere that I truly appreciated.
Dining

Breakfast offered a decent variety and was enjoyable, especially the pastries. though the lack of a proper bar service during my stay was unfortunate and limited my options for evening relaxation.

I appreciated the beautiful courtyard for evening coffee and the overall well-maintained facilities. just wish the services like room cleaning were more comprehensive during my time.

7.2/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Liassidi Palace. The location was excellent, just a short walk from San Marco square, and my room overlooked a charming canal. However, some things really disappointed me; for example, I was shocked to find my room was in a separate residential block, and the service was not up to par with what I'd expected from a place like this.

Rooms
6.0
The canal view from my room was stunning, but I was placed in a block away from the actual hotel. It was a bit confusing and concerning to check in and find my accommodation miles from what I envisioned. Some rooms seemed well-appointed, but mine lacked the modern updates I was hoping for.
Service
5.0
I found the staff a bit hit-or-miss. While some were pleasant and eager to help, others were surprisingly rude when I raised concerns about my room situation. I expected more attentiveness considering the situation, especially as I was celebrating a special occasion.
Location
9.0
The hotel is perfectly located in a quieter area yet close to major attractions. I really appreciated being able to wander around the charming streets without the bustle of tourist traps right outside my window.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was decent with a variety of pastries and fruits, but there wasn't a lot of fresh fruit or options for juices. The breakfast area itself was pretty, overlooking the canal, which made it a pleasant way to start the day.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel had some nice features, like a charming internal courtyard, I was disappointed that the bar wasn't open in the evenings during my stay. More evening options would have enhanced my experience.

My stay at Hotel Liassidi Palace was a mix of enjoyable features and a few disappointments. The location was superb, being only a short walk from St. Mark's Square and surrounded by lovely shops and restaurants. However, the room I stayed in had several maintenance issues, including an AC that didn't work and poorly functioning plugs. The service I encountered was inconsistent; while some staff were helpful, I did experience moments of indifference that dampened the experience.

Rooms
5.0
My room was a bit outdated and had issues like non-working plugs and an ineffective AC. The bathroom amenities were functioning, but overall comfort was compromised by these factors.
Service
6.0
Service was hit or miss. Some staff were very friendly and accommodating, but I also faced moments of indifference that felt unwelcoming.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was a significant highlight for me; it was peaceful yet close to popular attractions like St. Mark's Square. The convenience of nearby shops made exploring easy.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast offered a decent selection, though it could use more variety. The setting in the breakfast area was good, especially with views of the canal.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel had some nice facilities, including a lovely courtyard, the lack of effective maintenance diminished the overall appeal.

I had an enjoyable overall stay at Hotel Liassidi Palace, highlighted by the beautiful and clean accommodations and friendly staff. The hotel's location allowed for easy access to major attractions while providing a peaceful atmosphere. However, I encountered some issues with air circulation in my room that affected my comfort at night.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and well-appointed, with a beautiful view over the canal. However, I faced some challenges with air circulation since I had to keep the windows open, which let in mosquitoes during the night. A fan was provided to help, but I wish air conditioning was available at that time.
Service
10.0
I was consistently impressed by the welcoming and attentive service from the staff. They were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, especially when offering dining recommendations and accommodating my late arrival. Their personalized attention certainly enhanced my experience.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs, tucked away down a quiet canal while still being just minutes from St. Mark's Square and other key sights. The proximity to local dining options was also a huge plus.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast area was charming, and I enjoyed the variety of offerings, including fresh pastries and strong coffee. However, I thought the breakfast could benefit from more cooked-to-order options, as it sometimes felt a bit limited.
Facilities
9.0
The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, featuring lovely decor that reflected the history of Venice. I appreciated the relaxing courtyard that provided a nice space to unwind after a day of exploring. The private dock was also a wonderful feature for convenient transport.

My stay at Hotel Liassidi Palace was quite the adventure. while the location was fantastic, tucked away in a quieter part of Venice yet still close to major attractions, my experience in the separate annexe left a lot to be desired. I didn't get the full hotel experience, and I missed the welcoming atmosphere I had heard so much about. the lack of staff presence in the annex was disappointing, especially after a late arrival. Overall, I enjoyed my time exploring Venice, but my hotel experience was not what I had hoped for.

Rooms
6.0
Although my room was decent in size, I was situated in the annexe and didn't get a feel for the actual hotel ambiance. the lack of maintenance was evident in some features, like the small hairdryer and the stair to my bed that felt a bit inconvenient.
Service
5.0
I felt the absence of staff in the annexe was a significant downside. while I experienced minimal interaction upon my arrival, I missed the attentive service that others enjoyed within the main hotel.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is a real highlight. I was conveniently close to all major attractions while still nestled in a peaceful area, allowing me to explore Venice without the heavy crowds.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, I didn't experience the main breakfast area. I heard it could be crowded, and with a fee of 20 euros for breakfast in the main hotel, it seemed steep given my separate accommodations.
Facilities
6.0
Since I stayed in the annexe, I miss the impressive amenities of the main building. I did hear about perks like the dock for water taxis and the welcoming courtyard which I was excited to experience.
